While it should basically be common sense for jailbreakers to avoid upgrading to the latest version of iOS until the “coast is clear,” Apple’s highly anticipated release of iOS 7.1 this morning makes us think this warning bears repeating.
Noted jailbreak developer MuscleNerd also echoed this warning on Twitter this morning, providing a friendly reminder that it’s unclear if or when the Evasion jailbreak will be updated for the new firmware.
Jailbreakers stay away from today's iOS 7.1! Once you go up you can't downgrade again even with SHSH blobs (except i4).

As it stands, If you update to iOS 7.1 right now, you will lose your jailbreak.
