Apple has seeded the second beta of OS X 10.9.3 to developers. They’re asking developers to concentrate on graphics drivers and audio. The second beta comes exactly one week after the first beta release.
AppleInsider reports that people familiar with the beta seed (build 13D17) say the company is asking testers to focus on graphics drivers and audio.
Last weeks beta also included new 4K monitor support for connecting late-2013 MacBook Pro with Retina display models to external 4K monitors.
The current release of OS X Mavericks, 10.9.2 lacks this support, limiting Retina display MacBook Pro users to a maximum scaled output resolution of 4,096 pixels-by-2,160 pixels at 24Hz.
The beta is available to developers via the Update tab in the Mac App Store as well as through the Mac Developer Center.
