Apple added Kendrick Lamar to the lineup of its upcoming iTunes Festival SXSW on Thursday. Supporting acts ScHoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, Band of Skulls and Capital Cities were also been added.
Apple announced iTunes Festival SXSW earlier this month with a stellar line-up of artists that include Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, Keith Urban, ZEDD and the legendary Willie Nelson.
Wednesday saw the addition of Soundgarden to the list of performers. The Loop’s Beard notes that this won’t be just any Soundgarden show—it’s the 20th anniversary of “Superunknown,” one of the bands greatest albums. In celebration, the band will perform the entire album at iTunes Festival.
iTunes Festival SXSW is being held March 11-15, 2014 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, and all five nights will be available free via live stream and on-demand via the iTunes Store on your iOS device, or Mac and PC, and in the iTunes Festival app on your iOS device or Apple TV.
