’12 Days of Gifts’ – Day 9: iTunes Festival London 2013 – Single: Kings of Leon

Music lovers should be pleased with today’s “gift” from Apple for day 9 of their “12 Days of Gifts” promotion, as they’ll find the “iTunes Festival London 2013 – Single: Kings of Leon” EP waiting for them.

From the iTunes page:

Initially embraced as “the Southern Strokes” for their resurrection and reinvention of Dixie-styled rock & roll, Kings of Leon steadily morphed themselves into an experimental rock outfit during the 2000s. The Tennessee-bred quartet debuted in 2003 with the Holy Roller Novocaine EP, whose blend of raw, unpolished boogie rock was further explored on their debut full-length, Youth & Young Manhood.

The EP features the Kings of Leon’s performance from iTunes Festival London 2013, which includes the live audio tracks: “Black Thumbnail”, and “Sex on Fire”, plus video of their performances of “Family Tree”, and “Wait For Me”.

iTunes Festival London 2013 – Single: Kings of Leon can be downloaded via the “12 Days of Gifts” app, or can be downloaded directly from the iTunes Store. [DIRECT LINK]
