Attention holiday shoppers! Walmart will be offering Apple’s 16GB iPhone 5c for $27 with a two-year contract starting this Friday. That’s a $72 drop from the usual $99 price.
Following the 5c’s launch earlier this year, we noted that its higher-end counterpart, the 5s, was outselling it two-to-one. It seems Wal-Mart is quite interested in moving some stock to try to even those numbers out.
Walmart will be making some deals on other Apple products that day, as they’ll also be knocking a similar $72 off the price of a 16GB iPhone 5s – it’ll go for $127 – and they’ll also be giving shoppers a $50 gift card if they buy an iPad mini.
You can also load the content up at a discount on your new iOS devices, as Walmart will be selling $30 iTunes gift cards for $25 bucks. I guess they couldn’t bring themselves to knock $72 off of a $100 iTunes card…
