AppleInsider

The VPN Update for Mavericks Server resolves a problem involving the refusal of L2TP connections to OS X Server’s VPN service.

Users had complained of issues with connection Mavericks Server’s VPN service via L2TP. The issue arose when the client and server were behind different NAT gateways.

The update requires the latest OS X Mavericks version 10.9.1, and Sever 3.0.1 to operate, and will only install itself on a machine that has previously launched the Server app and used it to set up appropriate services.

The VPN Update for Mavericks Server can be downloaded via Software update, or directly from Apple’s Support Downloads page.
