As part of its continuing promotion of providing free apps, ebooks, and music to users of the Apple Store app, Apple is gifting a playlist of holiday favorites for your seasonal listening pleasure.
Apple Store app users can simply load the Apple Store app on their iPhone and tap the “Holiday Cheer” menu option available on the front page of the app.
While the iPad version of the Apple Store app doesn’t include the ability to snag the free holiday cheer, any iPad users that also own an iPhone can grab the free tunes on their iPhone, and then also download them to their iPad.
Songs included in the holiday playlist are:
- Ave Maria, by Il Volo
- Children Go Where I Send Thee, by Nick Lowe
- Duck the Halls, by The Robertsons – (Yes, “Duck.”)
- Joy to the World, by Celtic Woman
- Silent Night, by Kelly Clarkson
- The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire), by Kool and the Gang
- The First Noel, by Mary J. Blige
- What Child Is This, by Marvin Sapp
