It’s a game that Anchorman Ron Burgundy himself describes as, “A game of deception, intrigue and ice.” Welcome to “Anchorman 2 Scotchy Scotch Toss.” And I don’t know how to put this, but it’s kind of a big deal.

Hello friends, legendary anchorman Ron Burgundy here to describe the greatest app in the history of western civilization, “Scotchy Scotch Toss.” This mobile game, which I personally developed, combines my two favorite things: Scotch, and playful exchanges with total strangers. Simply toss ice cubes into my glass of Scotch and I’ll offer neighborly encouragement. OR, miss your shot and I’ll flog you like a petulant mule. Either way you’re going to hear about it!
The game includes multiple locations, a 2 player mode, and of course – Baxter, Ron’s faithful canine companion.
The play mechanics of the app will be familiar to anyone who has played a “toss” type of game in the past. Adjusting for wind, (In a Winnebago? Good God man! That is a classic vehicle!), you attempt to toss ice cubes into Ron Burgundy’s ever depleting glass of scotch. Miss, and he will ridicule you mercilessly, hit the target, and he will fill your ears with sweet, sweet praise as only a veteran of 70s television can.

I played the game for awhile last night, as I relaxed with a glass of scotch, on the rocks of course, what are we savages? I found it to be an entertaining time passer, and while the remarks Burgundy fires at you are humorous, they can become repetitive over time.
One hint. You can make points by hitting things other than Ron’s glass. I found that out by myself. Don’t act like you’re not impressed.
The game runs on both the iPhone and iPad.
