Virgin Mobile Offers $100 Discount on Unsubsidized iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c

It was already known that Virgin Mobile would be launching the iPhone 5s and 5c on their network today, but they pulled off a bit of a surprised when they announced they’d be offering both unsubsidized phones for $100 off of their normal asking price!

9to5Mac:

Virgin’s plans are the least expensive out there, especially considering they include unlimited data and start at $30/month.

That’s a great deal if you have decent Sprint coverage in your area. (Sprint owns Virgin Mobile, and the service uses Sprint networks.)

By the way, Sprint will also discount a cool $100 off of their subsidized plan, if you’re a new customer. For those of us who have actually been using Sprint, I guess we need to look in our Sprint customer handbooks for the section entitled, “Tough Sh*t”.

If you’re a Boost Mobile fan, that Sprint owned pre-paid wireless service is expected to also offer the iPhone in the near future.
