Leica is offering the public a look at the special edition Leica camera that Apple designer Jony Ive has created for an upcoming (RED) charity auction.

Ive and fellow designer Marc Newson spent 85 days building 561 models and 1,000 prototypes to create the device, which makes ample use of his preferred machined aluminum look.
The camera will be auctioned on November 23rd, alongside other items which include a customized Steinway Grand Piano, a 2012 Range Rover and rose gold Apple EarPods. Proceeds from the auction will go to The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
