Apple Ranks No. 1 in PC Customer Satisfaction for 10th Year in a Row

A new data report from the American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) reveals that Apple has reached an all time high in customer satisfaction, topping their own prior record, and dominating the overall PC industry. The Index polled over 70,000 consumers regarding customer satisfaction, and awarded Apple 87 out of a possible 100 points. This grants Apple the #1 spot for the 10th year in a row!

The ASCI report had the following to say about Apple in relation to the results:

Apple maintains the strong lead it has held for a decade, inching up 1% to an ACSI score of 87 Still, Apple’s position might be a bit more precarious in 2013. While iPhone sales are rising, shipments of Mac PCs declined and iPad sales are slowing, pointing to possible saturation in the tablet market. Nevertheless, even as Samsung and other manufacturers of Android-based devices make inroads, Apple continues to dominate in the U.S. market, with iPads accounting for about 80% of all tablet usage.

The Index also recently released their annual rankings on consumer smartphone satisfaction, with the iPhone taking excellent marks – second only to the Samsung Galaxy S3 (although it’s worth noting that this was before they had announced their new iPhones). JD Power and Associates also recently gave Apple top marks in customer satisfaction for the 9th consecutive year back in March.
