As Apple’s promised Fall launch of OS X Mavericks approaches, Apple today released their eighth developer preview of OS X Mavericks. As with its predecessors, the 8th developer build comes around two weeks following its predecessor, and continues to address various bugs and add performance enhancements ahead of the public release of OS X Mavericks.
As with the previous developer previews, the 8th developer build continues to address various bugs and add performance enhancements ahead of the public release of OS X Mavericks. The update weighs in at 549MB, and is available through Software Update on machines that already have a previous Mavericks preview installed. The new preview so far has NOT been added to Apple’s Mac Developer Center.
In addition to the new Mavericks preview, there is also an updated version of Xcode.
OS X Mavericks is staled for public release later this fall, and boasts over 200 new features.
