Just a week after originally releasing iOS 7 to the public, Apple has already released their second update to the mobile operating system. The company has just released iOS 7.0.2 for all iOS devices. The update includes a fix for a rare (and arguably minor, in the long run) security issue that affected the lock screen, potentially allowing someone to access your device without a passcode.
The iOS 7.0.2 update is available immediately through Software Update on devices running iOS 7 or later. The first update, 7.0.1, was released only for the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S, and patched minor bugs specific to those devices. We’ll post direct download links right here and soon as they are available.
Update: Direct download links are now available through the below links (via OS X Daily). Note: To determine the proper download for your iPhone 5, 5S, or 5C, click here. To determine the proper download for your iPad (4th generation) or iPad mini, click here.iPhone 5 (CDMA)
