Nokia has released a new advertisement that parodies Apple’s “Every Day” commercials in order to promote the photo taking abilities of the Finnish handset maker’s Lumia 925 smartphone.
The commercial starts off quoting Apple’s own ad from April, which declared that “Every day, more photos are taken with the iPhone than any other camera.” But Nokia’s ad goes on to say that the company builds “for quality, not just quantity.”
The commercial goes on to do a series of side-by-side comparison shots of the same shots taken by both the iPhone and the Nokia Lumia 925. Example shots include with flash, in low-light, color balance in regular lighting, and more. As you can imagine, the Lumia comes out on top in each instance.
The ad also features capabilities that the iPhone camera app lacks, such as “action shot,” “motion blur” and “best shot.”
As Nokia attempts a comeback in the smartphone market, camera quality has proven to be a focus of its promotion. Nokia recently unveiled the Lumia 1020, its new phone that includes and oversized image sensor that allows an its camera to be capable of an amazing 41-megapixels.
