The Landing Page for BlackBerry Messenger for iOS and Android Makes a Brief Appearance

BlackBerry continues to play peek-a-boo with it’s upcoming BlackBerry Messenger for iOS and Android, as the company briefly made a landing page for the app available earlier today, and now it’s gone.

The site told us how to get the most out of BBM. It also mentions that BBM Voice, Video, and screen sharing will apparently be coming to the Android and iPhone versions of BBM this fall. There was also an FAQ at the bottom of the page, answering questions about PINs, BlackBerry ID, and how to manage contacts, among others.

This, and the premature publication and then deletion of the user guides for the app last week can probably be taken as indicators that the release of the app is imminent. Or, they could just be indicators that the folks at BlackBerry never got enough of plying Hide-and-Seek and Peekaboo as a child.
