Alongside the release of the fifth iOS 7 developer beta yesterday, Apple has also released their fifth developer preview of OS X Mavericks. As with its predecessors, the 5th developer build comes around two weeks following its predecessor, and continues to address various bugs and add performance enhancements ahead of the public release of OS X Mavericks.

The update weighs in at 1.72GB, and is available through Software Update on machines that already have a previous Mavericks preview installed. For fresh installs, developers can log into the Mac Developer Center to redeem their code to download the Mavericks preview through the Mac App Store.
OS X Mavericks is staled for public release later this fall, and boasts over 200 new features.
