Apple Rolls Out Movie Support for iTunes in the Cloud to Japan and 7 New European Countries

Apple has rolled out movie support for its iTunes in the Cloud service in Japan and seven new European countries. (The support is new, not the countries themselves.) Customers in those countries will now be able to re-download content previously purchased from the iTunes Store.

MacRumors:

New support for Austria and Switzerland was noticed by iFun.de [Google translate], but the full list of new countries includes Austria, Estonia, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Switzerland.

Apple launched iTunes in the Cloud in the United States in June 2011. The service only covered music content at that time. Apple added support for movies and TV shows for U.S. users in March 2012. Movie coverage has gradually expanded ever since then. February saw the most recent previous addition to the list of countries where it is available.
