The 2013 iTunes Music Festival is fast approaching, and in preparation for the event, Apple has rolled out a new Apple TV channel, and refreshed their iOS app dedicated to the month-long concert fest. The channel and app feature a new look and contains in-depth information about the acts that will perform in September.
The iTunes Festival Apple TV channel and iOS app both feature a similar aesthetic, each offering scheduled showtimes, artist information and links to relevant music in the iTunes Store.
The fest is slated to kick-off on September 1st, and will be held at the Roundhouse in London. More than 60 artists are slated to perform.
Tickets for the event are only available as prizes, so luckily, Apple will again be streaming performances live via iTunes, the iOS app, and Apple TV. On-demand replays are also expected to be available for purchase via the iTunes Store.
Slate to appear during the month-long festival are: Lady Gaga, Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, and many more.
The new channel will be automatically delivered to your Apple TV with no need to perform a manual update, and the iOS app is available FREE in the App Store. [DIRECT LINK]
