Lucid Games, the folks behind popular console games Project Gotham Racing and Blur are teaming up with video game publisher 2K to develop “2K Drive,” a new racing title exclusively for iOS devices.
The game will offer a mix of licensed cars from manufacturers such as Dodge, Ford, and Nissan, in addition to original cars, and will include as tracks locations from around the world.
The game will include multiplayer components, mini-games, and a new feature called “RaceFace,” which will allow players to map their faces onto characters in the game. Real-life racing news will also be available from within the game, with publications including AutoBlog and Car & Driver.
2K Drive is set to be released in the fall as a “premium iOS title”.
