Hidden iOS 7 Settings Panel Reveals a Host of New Gestures, Features, and Tweaks

Apple’s first beta of iOS 7 has already been analyzed and dug through for well over a week now, and while the obvious new design and major new features are interesting, there’s apparently more to the beta than meets the eye. Some of the most interesting features in iOS 7 are actually hidden beneath the surface – and resourceful YouTube user Hamza Sood has managed to discover them, revealing some interesting possibilities in the process (via 9to5Mac).

Sood somehow managed to find a hidden settings panel buried within the OS, filled with a number of handy tweaks and features, including interesting new multitasking options, and the ability to add folders to other folders or hide pre-installed apps. Some of the coolest hidden gestures involve swiping the devices screen from the corners to activate various elements of iOS.

It’s unclear how Sood discovered this hidden settings panel – and as 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman notes, it’s likely that many of these features are for internal testing purposes only, and may never make it to the public release of iOS 7. Regardless of whether these settings will be in the final release of iOS 7 or not, however, they’re certainly interesting to look at!
