Report: No Matter How You Measure it, Apple Stores Post Record Sales Numbers

Apple’s retail stores in the United States not only make more money than any other store per square foot, they also take the crown when you measure things via revenue per visitor. This info comes from mobile analyst Horace Dediu in his Asymco blog. (via CNET).

Dediu calculated that in the latest quarter’s figures, Apple achieved an average revenue of $13m per store, equating to an average of $57.50 per visitor …

This figure becomes even more remarkable when you consider a good amount of visitors enter the store just to browse, ask questions, or to get support for a device. (Have you ever tried to get a Genius Bar appointment? SHEESH!)

Apple’s reported total revenues amounted to $43.6 billion in Q2 2013.
