YouTube for iOS Updated With Live Streaming, TV Queuing, Subscription Support & More

Watching YouTube live streams has always been something severely lacking from both the Apple-created YouTube app the the Google YouTube app released for iOS 6. That’s now been fixed though, as today the YouTube app was updated with the ability to watch live streams, as well as easier access to new uploads from your favourite YouTubers and stability improvements.

From the release notes:

*Quick access to new uploads from subscriptions via “My Subscriptions” feed on the Guide
* Access to Live streams
* Queue up videos to play on TV
* One Channel branding for video creator channels
* Stability and performance improvements

It definitely seems like a solid update, and I would go and grab it right now – and why not? It’s a free download from the App Store!
