According to a media release, AT&T’s consolidated revenues dropped 1.5 percent from the year-ago period down to $31.4 billion. Net profit was $3.7 billion, or 67 cents per share. This compares to the year-ago profit of $3.6 billion, or 60 cents per share.

Wireless revenues for the company amounted to $16.7 billion, a modest 3.4% annual jump.

The carrier also reported that it had moved 14% of its customers to its Mobile Share plans, amounting to approximately 10 million connections. 15% of those users actually dropped their unlimited data plans to jump into one of the shared buckets. Among the new Mobile Share plan members, over 2.5 million of them picked up a 10GB or higher tier.
