Twitter rolled out a massive update today for their popular TweetDeck Twitter management app for Mac, despite having announced plans to discontinue the iPhone, Android, and Adobe Air desktop versions of the app.
The update brings a number of highly-requested features, such as improved filters, enhanced column filters, a setting for wider columns, far more powerful search features, and more. Also included are numerous minor updates to make the app more consistent with the TweetDeck web interface.

All in all, it looks like a solid update, despite that it may well be the last one the app ever sees. TweetDeck is available for free from the Mac App Store.
