The irony! Considering Apple’s zero tolerance policy on anything sexual, the message that was retweeted (via 9to5Mac) by the official iBookstore Twitter account was quite outrageous. It has since been deleted, however some users reported that it was also favorited, suggesting it wasn’t an accidental.
Users were understandably surprised, amused or shocked when the saw the tweet. Comments ranged from ‘not a cool retweet, unfollowing’ to ‘not actually offended, but surprising’.
