CBS has announced the availability of a streaming app for iOS devices that will offer full episodes of their primetime, daytime, and late night series. Each episode will stream in HD.
The app also includes a personalized show list, live social feeds, photo galleries, and much more.
Most episodes will post one day after it originally airs. However, some won’t be available until eight days after the initial broadcast. Video is accessible via 3G, 4G, LTE, and Wi-Fi networks. It only works in the U.S. and territories.
While CBS has offered apps that stream episodes of CBS News, CBS This Morning, and 60 Minutes, it has resisted offering free episodes of such flagship series as “The Big Bang Theory” and “NCIS” on iOS devices.
