Apple has begun a new promotion today at their online stores, offering free next-day shipping on all iPhone models purchased. The promotion comes shortly after Apple’s new “Why You’ll Love an iPhone,” campaign, and after winning their 9th consecutive J.D. Power Satisfaction Survey win for the iPhone.
While Apple offers free shipping on all $50+ orders anyway, what’s significant about this promotion is that it extends free shipping to the iPhone 4, which is available for free with a two-year contract. It looks like this may be the beginning of Apple’s push towards cheaper iPhones. The offer is limited to a maximum of two iPhone purchases, and all models are currently listed with immediate availability.
