Much has been made of the iPhone’s camera for consumer use, but it’s actually been incredibly useful for professionals as well. After running out of money, Malik Bendjelloul, director of the award winning documentary Searching for Sugar Man, used a camera app on the iPhone to finish filming it. Not bad for a smartphone.
Bendjelloul revealed in an interview with CNN Money (via TUAW), that he used the 8mm Vintage Camera App, with which he recorded some aerial shots and even recorded some footage directly off his Macbook Pro screen. Check out the full interview below.
