The upcoming biographic film “jOBS” starring Ashton Kutcher in the title role, will hit theaters this April. The film, which is reported to cover Jobs’ life from 1971 to 2000, will premiere on the closing night of the Sundance Film Festival later this month.
There isn’t much more in the way of details about the Joshua Michael Stern-directed movie, but the press release did indicate that the film’s team had “unprecedented access” during shooting to the garage that Jobs and Steve Wozniak worked in while first getting Apple Computer off the ground in the 70s.
jOBS is the first Jobs biopic to be released, however it is not the only one to be produced. Aaron Sorkin, (The Social Network, and TVs Sports Night and West Wing), is currently working on his own Steve Jobs film.
