U.S. iPad mini Ship Times Improve to One Week

Just over 1 month after its November 2nd release date, Apple seems to be catching up with demand for the hot-selling iPad mini, as their online store is now showing one week ship-by dates for all models of the device in the U.S.

The change comes just one week after Apple announced that the iPad mini, iPhone 5, and 4th-gen iPad would launch in China in mid-December, suggesting that supply has finally stabilized for the devices, and Apple is now able to keep up with consumer demand.

While the quotes are not at the “in stock” level for availability, the improvement in the dates reflect the possibility that the supply chain for the mini is now in high gear. Apple also continues to offer next-day pickup reservations for the iPad mini at their retail stores. The device is also available for immediate walk-in purchase from most Apple Retail Stores.
