My Mom used to say, “Why put off until tomorrow, what you can do today?” And my answer is, “Because if you wait long enough to do your holiday shopping, Apple will offer free next-day shipping! DUH!”
The company’s web store is now offering free next-day shipping on every item available in the store. Previously, only a select few products were eligible for free shipping, including the items listed on Apple’s 2012 Holiday Gift Guide. Unfortunately, only US orders include free next-day shipping.
It looks like it includes everything you can find on Apple’s US online store, whether it’s first or third-party products, and price doesn’t seem to be a factor. And, of course, items that aren’t in stock or those facing a shipping delays (yes, like the new iMacs…) aren’t eligible for free next-day shipping.
One more thing to address those rumors floating around… No, it isn’t true that if you wait a couple of more days that Tim Cook will personally deliver your order. Not gonna happen, he’s all booked up through the end of the year. However, Scott Forstall could be available…
