Google is used on a daily basis multiple times by billions around the world. So what are people searching for? Apple products, it turns out. In its 2012 Zeitgeist (via MacDailyNews), Google revealed that iPad 3 was the most popular consumer electronics search term, with ‘iPad mini’ third in that category.
Perhaps more impressively, ‘iPhone 5’ ranked third in the general image search ranking, behind One Direction and Selena Gomez. Equally influential was ‘iPad 3’, fourth in overall searches.
Even Google can’t hide the fact that people search madly about Apple, and that the only two Android devices to have made the top ten of any category were the the Galaxy SIII and the Note II, in second and fifth place of the consumer electronics category respectively.
