Many customers have been wanting the iPhones and iPad minis in more colors than just black and white. The iPods are multicolored after all, it’s fair enough.
While Apple hasn’t been able to provide a solution, Anostyle will replace the white or black with an anodized color of your choice, giving your iPhone 5 or iPad mini a totally new look.
You have to send your iPhone/iPad mini into Anostyle, when they will anodize it and send it back. What’s interesting is that this isn’t a replacement. It’s the same casing, but the process turns it a different color.
Great, so that’s cool. Or is it? To anodize your iPad mini, you will have to pay MORE than for the iPad mini itself. At $299, who in their right mind would anodize their mini? It’s a bit cheaper for the iPhone, at $249, but it’s still outrageous. In fact, buy an iPod touch for that price, and as well as getting an anodized product, you also get a kick ass iPod.
Nevertheless, if you’re really that desperate for a different color, then by all means go ahead. However you could be spending your money on so much more.
