Nokia announced last week that they were working on a new iOS mapping app. Today, we get to see the fruits of their labor. Nokia’s new HERE Maps app for iOS has launched.
Nokia has based the app on its world-class NAVTEQ mapping data, that it says is used in 90% of in-car navigation systems in the world.

The app is attractive, and seems intuitive to use. I’ll be putting the app through its paces for the next few days, and will have a comprehensive review for you later in the week.
This is Nokia’s first attempt at an iOS client for its mapping service, so it will be interesting to see how it compares to Apple’s built in iOS Maps app.
