Apple has begun advertising its iPad mini in several print magazines. The ads highlight the device’s compact design, and shows how the user can access the same magazine’s content with the mini’s Newstand app.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Apple bust out advertising past the traditional TV spot this month, as it just began running 3D exploding iPod ads on several websites. It can’t hurt to try to juice sales just in time for the holidays, but, to be fair, they should have pixelated the display to signify the non-Retina screen.
The ads have been seen on the back cover of the New Yorker, and TIME.
Also, Apple continues its tactics of eye catching ads for its products, as buses in France have been sighted wearing iPod ads, as seen below.
