AT&T announced a new Dropbox competitor this week, providing 5GB of free cloud file storage to iOS and Android device users. The service is called AT&T Locker, and works pretty much exactly the way you’d expect, allowing users to upload photos, video, and other content.
The service includes a native Locker iOS app, and offers an Easy Upload feature which can automatically backup your photos to the cloud. In addition to the free 5GB storage option, the service is also available in a 30GB version and a 100GB version for $3.99 per month and $9.99 per month, respectively.
Key features of the app are as follows:
- Photos and videos can be automatically uploaded to your AT&T Locker from your phone
- Easily access your photos, videos and documents from your phone and computer
- Easy to share to email, Facebook and Twitter
- Your content is secure and backed up in the cloud
- Store your favorite memories in a safe and convenient place
- Store music from your computer to your AT&T Locker
The app is available now as a free download from the App Store.
