We’ve been seeing a flood of reports from users all around the globe that the iTunes Store, iTunes App Store, and Mac App Store are down for many users. Oddly, the error doesn’t affect the ability to browse or search for apps, but affected users are unable to download new apps or updates.
The issue doesn’t seem to be affecting all users – I haven’t had any issues, and have spoken to a number of people who haven’t had any trouble at all. Some users are also reporting that the iTunes and App Store issues are only affecting iTunes on the Mac, but are still available from iOS devices.
