Hilarious Saturday Night Live Sketch Pokes Fun at iPhone 5 Complaints

Apple is DOOMED – or at least that’s the story that floats around the web every single time Apple launches a new product or holds an event. Most recently, a flood of complaints went out after Apple released the iPhone 5, with users complaining that aluminum can be scratched, that the entire device was disappointing, and that, in general, Apple is screwed, and has no future without Steve Jobs.

Despite all the griping, the iPhone 5 has sold like hotcakes, and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Last night, the folks at Saturday Night Live addressed the iPhone 5 naysayers with a hilarious sketch putting the various complaints into perspective.

The sketch does a fine job of pointing out just how minor most of those gripes are. We’ve embedded the entire sketch below (Flash only – sorry)!

Note: It’s been pointed out that the video doesn’t work for many international viewers. We’re hearing that the same clip hosted at Hulu offers somewhat better international support.
