ETrade Supply has posted several photos of what it believes are of the display for the Apple’s imminent “iPad Mini”, the device it is widely believed will be introduced at the Apple media event next Tuesday.
Text on the back of the display suggests that the part was manufactured by LG Display, and text on the ribbon cable extending from the display is also consistent with labeling on genuine Apple parts.
The display looks to be the same 4:3 aspect ratio as the full-size iPad, and measures 162 mm x 124 mm. Of course, it’s no secret that the iPad Mini will probably be a lot like a shrunken iPad 2!
