Apple Launches New 13-Inch Retina Display MacBook Pro

Alongside new iMacs, new Mac Minis the new 4th-gen iPad, and the new 8-inch iPad Mini, Apple also unveiled a new 13-inch version of the MacBook Pro with Retina display! The new model features the same port layout as its larger counterpart, and features similar specs.


Specifications include:

  • Just .75 thick. 1/5th thinner than the old model.
  • It weighs just over 3.5 pounds. The lightest MacBook Pro ever.
  • No optical drive.
  • Retina Display. 4,096,000 pixels. Almost double the pixels of an HDTV.
  • FaceTime HD camera, dual mics, stereo speakers.
  • Core i5 or i7 processors.
  • Standard 8GB of RAM.
  • It starts at 8GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage for $1699.

Unlike the rest of the new products Apple announced at the event (except the Mac Mini), the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display ships today, and is available for ordering immediately from the Apple Online Store!
