Is the iPad mini Really as Light as a Pad of Paper?

“Which?”, a UK consumer advocacy organization has grabbed a little publicity for itself as they have published the results of their research into Apple’s claims about the weight of the iPad mini. Is it as light as a pad of paper? Well yes, and it’s also lighter than a can of Coke, (full, I’m assuming), or a loaf of bread. (No word if that’s white, wheat or pumpernickel.)

Which?, via MacRumors:

So there it is; the iPad mini isn’t quite as light as a pad of paper – at least our non-spiraled softback pad. There are certainly pads of paper that are heavier so Phil Schiller’s claim that it’s as light as a pad of paper is about right.

So, it’s lighter than a can of Coke, and there’s less chance of a nasty spill gumming up the works. It’s lighter than a loaf of bread, but how does that help me make my world famous grilled Reuben sandwich?

Also note that the mini is lighter than the Kindle fire (395g) and the Google Nexus (334g), so if your arm is easily fatigued, be advised.
