Gog.com Offers Mac Users Chance To Catch Up With PC Classics

From about 2000-2003, it’s fair to say that Apple missed out on most if not all major game releases for PC. Back then, the Mac had a tiny market share, and for game developers, it wasn’t worthwhile. How to catch up on what we missed (if you used a Mac between those years)? Gog.com has the answer.

I think the ad (viewable above), is a really nice touch, making fun of Apple while at the same time (technically) promoting its products.

So what games can you get? Fifty to start with. Here’s a list:

Syndicate, Ultima series, Wing Commander, The Witcher Enhanced Edition, Crusader: No Remorse, Theme Hospital, Little Big Adventure, Postal Classic and Uncut, and Simcity 2000

Pricing varies, but with promos some of them can get as cheap as $2.99, which is a bargain for a trip down memory lane and introducing your Mac to something new.

You can use the online catalog here to see what takes your fancy, accessing only Mac compatible games by selecting ‘narrow results by system’. Definitely worth a look.
