It’s that time again! Witches, ghouls, zombies, and monsters roam the land! On All Hallows Eve, these beings rise up across the land in search of one thing… CANDY! …And maybe a couple of fun apps for their iOS devices.

Angry Birds Seasons (iPhone and iPad) – The latest edition of the constantly updated “Seasons” finds the pigs in their spookiest location yet: a haunted house! The Birds fight ghosts and ghouls to get their eggs back!

“Halloween Sound Box” contains 16 unique and scary Halloween sounds they say will scare the wits out of your family and friends. Bring spooky stories to life or use it to set the mood at your Halloween party! (Or, you can sneak up behind friends with full drinks and play a sound at full volume and watch the drink go flying! My personal favorite use for apps like this…)

Halloween Booth (iPhone) – This photo app allows you to take photos of yourself and friends, and then add Halloween themed overlays to your photos.

Edit the photos right on the screen of your device, and when you’ve made the perfectly ghoulish pic, send it to your friends, or even your ghoul-friend, via email or Facebook. You can even print your photos to any AirPrint compatible printer. The app has 36 overlays to add to your photos.

Zombie Pic Booth (iPhone) – You know you’ve thought about it, what would the world look like if zombies took over? Now you can see exactly what it would look like if you, your family and friends, or even your pets were turned into zombies!

Overlays and effects help you turn anyone in your photos into the living dead! Includes a tutorial video to show you how to “zombify” anyone in a few easy steps, and then share your creations via Twitter, Facebook, or email.

It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! (iPad and iPhone) – Brought to you by the same developers that created “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, this app will appeal to the youngest, and probably the oldest Halloween fans, and everyone in between.

Linus and Sally are waiting for the Great Pumpkin, and you can create your own Peanuts character and join Charlie Brown at his first-ever Halloween party! Choose from various costume combinations, and go trick-or-treating with the Peanuts gang. Carve a pumpkin, and even bob for apples with Snoopy.

The Walking Dead (iPhone and iPad) – Get the free first issue of the comic series based on the popular AMC TV show. A global epidemic has caused the dead to rise and feed on the living, and… Well, who doesn’t know what life with zombies is like?
