A new series of photos reposted by NowhereElse.fr shows what a physical mockup of the iPad mini would look like in hand, with the seven inch tablet rumoured to be released imminently (via MacRumors).
My French translation (I’m a native speaker, so you don’t have to put up with the Google Translate gobbledygook):
Seeing as the miniature tablet hasn’t yet been confirmed, we will remain cautious and check out the photos that follow, keeping the rumors at arms length.
The mockup could also just be a Chinese clone of the anticipated iPad mini, but regardless, it shares the same characteristics as the other mockups we have seen so far.
We’ll find out soon enough if any of this is true, with tomorrow’s special event a possible revelation date, but the rumors and mockups have been stacking up and above all supporting each other as far as the iPad mini is concerned, so if you want a smaller iPad, I’d be optimistic.
