Magnified Image Shows Improvement Of iPhone 5 Display Compared To iPhone 4

Many have often wondered how much exactly the iPhone display has improved with the new model released earlier this month, and that has now been shown by Retinal neuroscientist and photographer Bryan Jones (via Cult of Mac). The photos compare the iPhone 4 to the 5 (so you have to consider that the 4S was involved in the improvement), and the difference is clear.

Both phones were put under a stereomicroscope before being photographed and compared.

Even to the naked eye it’s fairly obvious which screen is better, but getting seriously up close and personal with the pixels only emphasises the fact that the iPhone 5 has hugely improved the screen quality compared to the iPhone 4S.
