Demand is always high for new Apple products, and the iPhone 5 certainly isn’t any different. Pre-orders started only hours ago, but already shipping delays are appearing, with Apple now quoting two weeks, meaning that hopeful customers will be getting their precious new gadget later than first thought.
Apple’s supply didn’t last long this year – in fact, the first batch of pre-orders sold out in under 1 hour! The same delay now applies to most countries, with theU.S., UK, Australia and other European countries affected.
If you’re thinking about ordering, I would do so this minute, as going by past experience, it will up to 3-4 weeks within days. Alternatively, you can get up early and queue for when it gets released in store on the 21st of September, but even then, there are no guarantees.
