According to the latest data from web analytics firm Chitika, iOS 6 already accounts for 15% of all iOS devices, just 24 hours after it was released yesterday! That’s a pretty remarkable adoption rate, especially considering that Google’s best adoption rate for an Android update is just 1.5%…
While that’s not quite the same as saying it’s installed on 15% of all eligible devices (AllThingsD rightly points out that “those upgrading on the first day are [most likely] heavy users more likely to access the Web on a daily basis”), it’s still very impressive.
