Dragon Dictate as been the hallmark of accurate speech recognition technology for a while, and Dragon Dictate 3, coming to Macs on September 13, raises the bar even more with 15% more accuracy.
It’s a release truly packed with features – as well as the accuracy, you get wideband Bluetooth support, faster correction and digital voice recording.
Certainly from an accuracy point of view, and having used both Dragon Dictate and Siri, I vouch the former if it came down it. It’s a great piece of software, and is really handy if you want to write a quick email or reminder without touching the keyboard.
However you get what you pay for, and as such to get hold of it you’ll to splash $199, or $149 if you already have Dragon Dictate 1 and up.
