Bloomberg is reporting that a verdict has been reached in the Apple vs. Samsung trial. No details are available at the moment. We will keep you posted as the story develops.
The Verge live blog reporting:
The verdicts are now being read. We’ll report them after they have all been read.
3:40:10 PM PDT: Koh is asking Ms. Parker-Brown to read the verdict.
3:39:00 PM PDT: “Has the jury reached a verdict?” “Yes.”
3:36:33 PM PDT: The jury is coming in.
3:35:13 PM PDT: It does look like it’s the verdict form she’s looking over. The crossword puzzle-style chart is visible from the media seats.
3:33:52 PM PDT: Judge Koh is sitting going over a document. She wanted to review the verdict before proceeding. It’s unclear if she’s doing that as we type, or if she will be stepping away to review it.
3:27:43 PM PDT: Judge Koh agrees with Samsung that she doesn’t want to release the jury until everything is clear.
3:26:11 PM PDT: Judge Koh will take a quick look to make sure everything is fine. “But if it’s something obvious,” like damages for invalid patents, “I think I should send them back.”
3:24:10 PM PDT: Apple and Samsung agree that both sides should take 10-15 minutes to review the document if there are inconsistencies after it is read.
3:22:42 PM PDT: Judge Koh hasn’t seen the verdict form yet.
3:21:45 PM PDT: Judge Koh has entered the courtroom.
3:21:36 PM PDT: One of Apple’s legal team just showed up in a polo shirt. Looks like we’re not the only ones surprised to be here today.
3:20:39 PM PDT: Another filing through the court’s system: Samsung has requested 30 minutes to go through the jury’s results before the jury is dismissed “for the purpose of seeking clarification of potential inconsistent verdict if necessary.”
3:05 PM PDT: Everyone is assembled in the courtroom, they are now waiting on the Judge and the jury to enter.
