Autodesk has issued a major update to its Sketchbook Pro app, which is now available to download exclusively on the Mac App Store. Sketchbook Pro 6 features a revamped user interface as well as improved color selection tools and easy paintbrush modification.
General performance improvements are also to be expected in the new version, and iCloud integration has also been vastly improved to save your files.
Sketchbook Pro 5 remains available, but you’d have to be nuts to buy it as it’s twice the price of the newer version. Some of the sketches and drawings you can create are pretty darn impressive, so if you like art and haven’t already downloaded it, it might be worth a look.
